Specialty - Mortise & Tenon
Tenons can be easily made on a table saw, as can open mortises. You may want to review the video on Rip Slots as we will use the same centering techniques here that I introduced in that video.
One important detail in working sequence is to make either all of your mortises or all your tenons at one time as that will assure that they are all made with one setting on the jig and are all the same. Then make the mating piece in scrap until the jig is producing a perfect fit -- and then make all of the matching pieces. You don't want to reposition your jig in the middle of a production run.
