Connect to your favourite weather forecaster and look for the following conditions:
Category: Adhesives Product: Interior Carpet & Sheet Vinyl Adhesive Latex
Temperature Limitations: Floor and adhesive must be above +18 C (+65 F) prior to application.
Rain Limitations: Indoor product - must stay dry.
Wind Limitations: n/a
Humidity Limitations: High humidity will slow curing.
Continuous Conditions: Apply flooring into adhesive while it is wet, generally within 15 minutes. Restrict traffic for 24 hours. Avoid cleaning or standing water for 4 weeks.
Comments: Both the flooring adhesive and the flooring materials must be between +18 & 30 deg C (65 & 85 F) 24 hours before application and for several days after application.

APPLICATION / INSTALLATION DETAILS
Generally weather restrictions have no meaning for indoor adhesives, but in the case of a floor area in new construction and often renovation, the floor could be either overheated by the sun, or freezing cold. Also flooring materials might have been stored in a cold shed or garage.
Remember that the adhesive, the flooring material as well as the floor itself must be between 18C and 30C before, during and for several days after installation.
Although we always need to work in a well ventilated room, we may need to arrange for sun shading of that open window without blocking the air movement -- or temporary heating and exhaust ventilation if it is cold outside.
