Yes Jon has had another life, on live Radio in Montreal's CJAD every Saturday morning for almost 30 years. It may sound the same as the HGTV shows but it sure doesn't look the same.
Just as Jon left HGTV in 2006 when reality TV came in and teaching went out, in January of 2022 Jon decided not to get up early every Saturday morning of his life. You can catch the archives of several years of his CJAD radio show by clicking here.
He has not retired, but is concentrating on this website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and inspecting/consulting/teaching through Zoom in homes across the country. That's enough for the longest broadcasting home improvement expert in North America.
