Storage Ideas -- home made and commercial

Tom from Toronto has made 'door storage' by simply suspending old doors from the ceiling or the wall, as you can see in the first two photos above.

Then there is the home made "free form" drawer that you thought was condemed when you put a sink in front of the drawer front.  The bottom of the drawer goes easily under the sink, so simply make a curved drawer side on the sink side and you still have a lot of storage rather than a nailed shut drawer front.

The rest of the images come from an innovative hardware company called Richelieu from Montreal, Quebec. Today, just about any space can be made more efficient with good storage hardware.

Don't forget the existence of full extension drawer slides, which are not in the photos above. Regular drawer slides leave you scraping to get something out of the back of drawers. A little more expensive but worth every penny is to always use full extension slides that bring the back of the drawer right out of the cabinet, giving you easy access to the entire drawer. Now there's a present for Mother-In-Law's day.
